Cancellation Policy

At Bakings.in, we strive to provide the best possible service to our customers. However, we understand that circumstances may require you to cancel an order. Please review our cancellation policy below, which outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds.

Cancellation Charges and Refund Policy

1. Cancellation Before 24 Hours of the Selected Time Slot:

   • Bank Account Refund: If a cancellation request is made more than 24 hours before the start of the selected delivery time slot, 5% of the order value will be deducted as a cancellation charge. The remaining 95% will be refunded to your bank account.
   • Bakings Wallet Refund: You may opt for a 100% refund to your Bakings wallet, where cancellation charges will be waived.

2. Cancellation Between 12 to 24 Hours of the Selected Time Slot:

   • Bank Account Refund: If a cancellation request is made between 12 to 24 hours before the start of the selected delivery time slot, 10% of the order value will be deducted as a cancellation charge. The remaining 90% will be refunded to your bank account.
   • BakingsWallet Refund: You may opt for a 100% refund to your Bakings wallet, where cancellation charges will be waived.

3. Cancellation Within 12 Hours of the Selected Time Slot:

   • Bank Account or Bakings Wallet: If a cancellation request is made within 12 hours of the selected delivery time slot, 100% of the order value will be deducted as a cancellation charge. No refund will be processed to your bank account or Bakings wallet.

Discretionary Refunds

In all of the above cases, refunds to a bank account or Bakings wallet may only be entertained at the discretion of the company, considering the reason for cancellation, such as unfortunate events, natural calamities, or other unavoidable circumstances. Customers cannot claim a refund as a matter of right under these conditions.

Non-Cancellable Orders

Please note that cancellation requests will not be accepted under the following conditions:

• Same-Day Delivery: If the order placing date and order delivery date are the same, cancellation requests will not be accepted. No refund will be provided in such cases.
• Same-Day Midnight Orders: Cancellation requests for same-day midnight deliveries will not be accepted. No refund will be provided.
• Special Days: Cancellation requests for orders placed on special days (e.g., Valentine’s Day, New Year’s Eve) will not be accepted. No refund will be provided.

We reserve the right to assess each cancellation request individually. While we aim to be as accommodating as possible, the above policies will be strictly adhered to.
